My name is Katherine Fischer and I am third year Film Major/ Marketing Minor at the University of Central Florida. I am pursuing a B.A. in Cinema Studies and plan to graduate in 2013.

Currently, I am interning for Scott Messina of Messina Productions and am learning a great amount from this experience. I recently worked as Co-Producer for a graduate thesis film entitled "Pembroke Circle." This independent film is currently going through the pre-production stages and will be shot June 2012. In addition, I completed a summer internship with Pink Sneakers Production. I worked on set for an MTV pilot and contributed to several shows now in development for Bravo, CMT, and VH1. I acquired many skills through this experience including editing, transcribing, casting, and networking.

I plan to start off as a Production Assistant and work my way up to a Producing position. Through hard work and dedication, I dream of one day working for Walt Disney Studios in any aspect. For now, I will continue to work diligently in my film/marketing classes and pursue any internship opportunities that will bring me closer to my dream.
