Nelison "Nick" Anderson (born January 20, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois) is a retired American professional basketball player. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for two years, playing on the team that reached the NCAA finals in 1989. He then spent thirteen years in the NBA beginning in 1989, most of them with the Orlando Magic. He ended his career in 2002. Nick was the first player ever drafted to the Orlando Magic, in addition, he is the Magic's ALL TIME leading scorer. The Nick Anderson Basketball Camp produced by iShowcase & Bold Sports helps children ages 7-17 develop their game. It also allows less fortunate kids to participate through its enriched scholarship program. |
